It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to the official webpage of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors Lagos State branch. The Surveying profession is one of the oldest organized professions in Nigeria. Surveyors are saddled with the responsibility of providing accurate and reliable Geospatial data and information for all users.
Land Surveying as referred to in the past has transformed into Surveying and Geoinformatics. This change is due to digital transformation and advancement in technology applicable to methods of acquiring, processing, retrieval, update, and presentation of survey data. These has brought about improved service delivery among the surveying professions to the clients and the public.
As Surveyors in Lagos state, we are aware of the place of robust and precise geospatial needs of our rapidly growing smart city. Our members, both young and old are adequately engaged in continuous learning, professional development, and highest ethical standards in other to keep them abreast with our dynamic thirst for up to date, technologically backed spatial information. Our members are core professionals and can stand shoulder to shoulder with their counterparts from every part of the globe.
